The Opportunity

A newly created, ongoing position of Test and Commissioning Network Interface Lead has become available and will be one of our first roles to commence at our Newport site. Reporting directly to the Project Test and Commissioning Manager, the core focus is to support detailed planning and execution of Dynamic Testing and Commissioning (T&C) at the T&C Commissioning site/Melbourne mainline network including Validation and Routine testing. To ensure effective, safe and well-planned network access, this role will interface with the validation team and key Customer stakeholders and counterparts to deliver and monitor daily plans and the rollout of testing.

Core activities include;

  • Consistent liaison and communication with key stakeholders and internal teams to plan, implement, amend and monitor the effectiveness of testing and commissioning activities
  • Support the mainline test planning
  • Work closely with project planning to deliver high level plans and implement daily plans and actions in accordance with contractual obligations and timelines

We are seeking;

  • Experience from a similar position, with proven abilities in collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and external customers
  • Applied knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project or similar planning software
  • A confident communicator, adaptable and welcoming of a changing environment whilst still driven to meet high level plans
  • An individual contributor, passionate about the testing and commissioning field and looking for an ongoing, opportunity to contribute to a core rail project
