And that's not all – we provide flexible start and finish times.We welcome the challenge to work in new ways and have trust in you when getting the job done because we recognise, our business is our people.The roleAn integrated member of strategic project teams, the Subcontract Manager will work closely with the Project Manager(s) and Commercial Manager(s), to undertake the full lifecycle of subcontract activities, including initial approaches to market, establishment of subcontracts of all complexities, and onward active subcontract management to ensure on-time performance and compliance with the subcontract.What you will be doing.....Lead subcontractor and supplier strategy, source selection and offer evaluation.Undertake suppler risk assessments and develop supply mitigation strategies for project implementation.Ensure alignment with project head contract terms through formalisation of Subcontract Agreements, with input from the Commercial Manager and Project Manager for each key Subcontract.Proactive engagement with Project staff to ensure requirements of Subcontractors are understood, and engagement with Subcontractors to develop strong and trusted external relationships.Drive Subcontractors to ensure on-time performance and subcontract compliance.Subcontract risk identification and provision of recommended mitigation plans.Keeping up to date with the latest Supply Chain methodologies, regulations, industry standards, and global potential supply risks.Working with Bid and Proposal Teams to develop material supply plans and pricing, including required freight, duty and customs clearance requirements.Establishing, monitoring and reporting on appropriate subcontract performance metrics.Compliance with all supply chain governance, corporate and business unit policies, procedures and regulations.​Do you have …A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, procurement (or equivalent).Experience in contract and subcontract management within a Defence, aerospace or security environment.Knowledge of Australian ADEFCON procurement regulations and their appropriate application to business transactions.Are you able to demonstrate the following personal attributes?
