Responsibilities : Ownership and management of all end of month and year-end reporting including the preparation of statutory accounts Lead the development and execution of financial strategies that support QinetiQ’s growth objectives and operational goals Lead internal compliance efforts and manage relationships with internal and external partners to ensure financial integrity and transparency Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making processes within the company Drive and execute projects including implementation of new systems Mentor and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. About you Degree qualified in Finance or Accounting CA or CPA qualified with demonstrated experience leading transaction control, reporting, compliance and systems Commercially focussed and technically astute with a continuous improvement style Experience with financial systems implementations and upgrades Exceptional communication skills, strong business acumen and senior stakeholder management skills #LI-NC1 #LI-HYBRID Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance. This will be an Australian based appointment – either in Nowra, New South Wales (preferred) or within a short, commutable distance. Relocation support will be made available where required.
