Tractor Operator/Field Technician

Spinifex Recruiting are working with a reputable construction company to secure a Tractor Operator to assist with the cleaning of solar panels and vegitation management on local Solar Fams around the riverina.The Tractor Operator/Labourers main responsibility will be to clean the panels of our solar farms using a tractor with the cleaning attachments. The solar farms are located at Wyalong NSW, Wagga Wagga NSW, & Junee NSW. Ideally, this would suit someone who is able to travel between these sites, a week at a time, and home on the weekends. alThe priority location is to start, in Wagga Wagga/bomen then over to Corowa for 4 weeks, coming home on the weekends, followed by west Wyalong for 4 weeks and Junee for 4 weeks on a rotating roster across the four locations.There is also some vegetation management, general laboring and minimal computer work involved too, although the cleaning/tractor operating is the priority. Metka Egn can also provide training if necessary, on the use of the tractor attachments as well as run you through Chemcert Certificate and other first aid courses. This is a full time permanent role woring Monday to Friday 38 hours per week, the start and finishing times are flexible, either 7am-2pm, 8am-3pm or 9pm-4pm. Salary index for this roe is $65,000 K + Superannuation, accommodation paid while out of town in other locations, vehicle incentives and fuel, or a hire car to other locations. Responsibilities will include: ​​Performing works on solar farm structure and modules as directed including - panel cleaning, vegetation management, slashing and spraying.Operate light vehicles, ATV, Tractor and plant as directed and in accordance with policies, procedures and legislative requirements.General labouring duties when required.Preparation for review of monthly progress claims for projects in consultation with project team.
