Position: Regional Lead Operational Excellence and System Improvement Position Type : Full-Time Location: East Wagga Wagga NSW 2650 Our client is seeking a full-time Regional Lead Operational Excellence and System Improvement to join their team. The Regional Lead Operational Excellence (OE) and System Improvement is the Region’s specialist in DICI, lean management, Best Practices and Manufacturing Excellence (Manufex) Work Processes. The OE Regional Expert is in charge of coaching the plant improvement and operations teams. This individual is also the driver for promoting a continuous improvement culture, taking further our current journey with the aim of achieving world class performance in operations. Tasks required include: Owns the ANH implementation of the DICI system and its application Ensure LEAN elements and standards are implemented on site level Drives training programs for DICI (e.g. shop floor training, 5S) Deliver 2% YoY savings through DICI and Lean Capture opportunities and track benefit generation for the sites and the region Partner with the Engineering, Asset, and Plant Managers to design, implement and embed tiered meetings structure to allow for targeted improvement Monitor KPIs and prepare regional Ops Review Meetings/ Dashboard Improve operational systems such planning tools, digital platforms, etc. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field At least five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role Experience of successfully implementing Continuous Improvement methodologies Knowledge of Change Management approaches and techniques.
