As a vital member of our Infrastructure Planning team, you'll play a crucial role in the development of asset renewal programs for roads, pathways, and drainage infrastructure. Here's what you'll be doing:  Assist in the development of asset renewal programs for roads, pathways, and drainage infrastructure based on best practice asset management systems, standards, and practices. Conduct condition assessments of these infrastructure assets. Contribute to the development of Asset Management Plans for Council's road, pathway, and drainage networks. Provide professional engineering advice within the Engineering Services section. About YouBachelor of Engineer (Civil) qualification. Hold a current 'C' class drivers' license. Demonstrated high-level knowledge in the planning, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of road and drainage assets.Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong focus on customer service. High level ability to effectively communicate with other Council staff, Councillors, the community and other external parties. Registered Professional Engineer of Qld (RPEQ) in the Civil Stream or ability to acquire registration (desired)Experience in road and drainage asset management (desired)Experience in using pavement management systems and other asset deterioration models (desired)What we offerAn attractive remuneration package with options for salary sacrifice and 17.5% leave loading9-day fortnight rosterOpportunities for professional development training and study assistance to enhance your career progressionWork within a culture that promotes a healthy work-life balance and a friendly and supportive teamAn all-inclusive and diverse workplace culture where everyone feels valuedJoin us in shaping the future of Bundaberg's infrastructure and enjoy a rewarding career with plenty of growth opportunities.
