About the Role
Reporting to the Member Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests whilst promoting Club membership and assisting with the delivery of promotions and entertainment at Canterbury League Club and our satellite venue, The Lakemba Club.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is interested in working across Reception and Entertainment and Promotions on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
In this role, you will be required to undertake the following duties: Reception
- Providing an exceptional customer service experience to our members and guests;
- Promoting and upselling Club membership products and services;
- Attending to mail and over the counter deliveries; and
- Managing and directing incoming calls and responding to general enquiries accordingly.
Entertainment and Promotions
- Assisting with the delivery of entertainment and promotions including bingo, raffles and selling tickets;
- Preparing, displaying and distributing promotional prizes; and
- Assisting with show room set up including room layout, table settings, equipment and maintaining the general cleanliness during and after performance/s.
About you
We are seeking a Casual Receptionist to join our talented team and ensure an exceptional level of customer service is offered to our members and guests.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following : Skills & competencies:
- Previous experience in a similar role (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
- Exceptional grooming and presentation
- Ability to solve problems
- Self-motivated and organised with the ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work a rotating 24-hour, 7-day roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
Experience and Qualifications:
- Current NSW RSA & RCG competency card (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service role
- Full working rights
