In-Store Visual Merchandiser - Chermside

The Role The Instore Visual Merchandiser is responsible for maximizing store sales and profit through the execution of visual merchandise directives and overall outstanding store presentation. The Instore Visual Merchandiser will mentor and train the store team to continuously uphold Visual Merchandise standards and will support the Store Manager in maintaining an elevated level of store presentation in-line with Company Standards. You will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks: Execute in-store creative concepts including windows and mannequins to drive the brand vision and deliver world class shopping experience Conduct daily walk through with the Store Manager, Assistant Manager and Department Managers to plan VM actions for the week Review weekly sales reports to make effective decisions on store layout and VM actions for the week- complete follow-up Analyse range, product mix and stock reports on a weekly basis and implement moves as agreed to with the Store Manager based on the customer demographic and sell-through of product Remain aware of the competitor activity to ensure JD Sports remains current and reactive to customer needs Support the Store manager and management team on best practice to ensure company standards are maintained Inspiring, training and supporting the store-based team to drive a world class experience for the JD customers Engage in housekeeping tasks to upkeep store presentation standards What we're looking forExperience in a Visual Merchandiser role with a fashion retailer You love fashion, being creative and have a strong knowledge of our brands Passionate about creating a great customer shopping experience You have excellent time management skills and ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely manner You are confident at communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business You can adapt to continuously changing processes and procedures, due to JD Sports business rapid growth What’s in it for you?  Attractive salary and the elusive retail roster of Monday to Friday Work with some of the best product and biggest sports fashion brands in the market Training and development to evolve and shape your career Opportunity to progress across all areas of the business including Retail, Support Office, and our Distribution Centre Treat yourself with our attractive staff discount!
