What will your typical day look like? The specialist lead role will be involved in leading technical teams (onshore and offshore) in different project phases from defining functional, non-functional, and operational requirements, through to planning, governance, and quality control. We improve their agility and resilience and identify opportunities to optimise their technology usage. We also accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, by implementing vendor solutions as well as Deloitte-developed software solutions and tools. Required interpersonal skills/experience Experience with both waterfall and agile testing methodologies Critical thinking experience, ability to analyse and make informed decisions. Good communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, ability to negotiate and influence both internal and external customers Demonstrate resourcefulness and adaptability Desire to learn, innovate and think out of the box Strong work ethic and positive attitude Required role specific skills/experience Significant experience in performance test planning, workload modelling, capacity planning, scalability and stability testing, and stress testing of small to large scale applications Experience diagnosing performance issues, and recommending and implementing performance tuning and risk mitigation approaches to address them Performance testing experience across multiple platform architectures and technologies such as micro-services, APIs, databases, message queues, FTP etc. Experience performance testing enterprise applications including Salesforce, SAP, Workday. REST APIs is advantageous, as is an exposure to moving workloads to cloud environments including (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, exceptional attention to details. 5+ years of experience in developing dynamic performance testing suites using at least 2 of the performance test tools - Apache Jmeter, Gatling, Artillery, MicroFocus LoadRunner Experience monitoring applicationPerformance using one of the following Observability tools:Dynatrace, NewRelic, AppDynamics, Splunk, Sumo Logic etc. Understanding of resilience testing and site reliability practices including Failover/DR testing. Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, DevOps, automation, cloud technology
