Pattison’s Patisserie is looking for Baker to join our Patisserie kitchen team.

About us : From humble beginnings in the 1990s, our business has expanded from one bakery in the northern suburbs of Sydney, to 19 locations in and around the city. We provide specialist products directly to the customer and pride ourselves on our use of the finest ingredients, artisan produce and made-to-order specialty products.

The role :

  • Assist daily production of all high-quality, made-to-order, artisan goods.
  • Involved in all aspects of wholesale and retail baking production
  • Range includes breads, slabs & loaves.
  • Operating relevant machinery on occasion for the production of goods to cut and roll dough.
  • Precision in the kneading, moulding, cutting and shaping of dough
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness practices throughout the shift, to ensure OH and S regulations are followed.
  • Working with the Head Chef to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and on time.
  • All aspects of the preparation of pastry fillings.
  • Weighing ingredients and glazing buns.
  • Monitoring baking times based on the appearance of goods during the shift.
  • Ensuring order deadlines are met from the customer.

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Manage workloads to meet deadlines for made to order products
  • Passionate about baking with amazing quality produce and following our traditional methods.
  • Have a good work ethic
  • A team player
  • Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude
  • Own vehicle and current driver licence preferred
  • Strong communication skill
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a baker with a relevant Certificate 3 or above. Or 3 years of experience without a relevant certificate.

Position: Full time

Salary: $73,150 plus super.
