As a local manufacturer they have the capacity to design, fabricate, assemble, test and install fully managed turn-key solutions including LV/HV switchboards, switchrooms and a range of LV and HV power distribution products. Position Reporting to the Design Manager you will design switchboards and other electrical products for a range of projects, particularly in the water/water treatment sector, preparing approved drawings and documentation. You must have significant experience in switchboard design, able to hit the ground running, and looking to step up into a leadership role. Duties include: Design standard and customized switchboard solutions in line with specific client requirements and projects Ensure compliance to Australian standards and company certification requirements Ensure adherence to guidelines and restrictions of the relevant switchgear supplier Liaise closely with the production team to ensure suitability for production and no unforeseen issues occur Work effectively as part of a team, be willing to mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge Key skills include: AutoCAD – AutoCAD Electrical - SolidWorks Significant LV and/or MV switchboard experience – technical competence is a must Knowledge in electrical switchboards, control systems, motor control, power distribution electrical installations, and manufacturing Knowledge of Australian statutory and regulatory guidelines Strong communication skills both written and verbal Benefits: Salary in the region of $110,000 - $120,000 plus super Be part of a dynamic, technically innovative company that values employees who are equally passionate Strong pipeline of projects and gearing up for significant growth and expansion Genuine opportunity for career growth and development as the team expands How to apply Click APPLY and please provide an up to date copy of your resume.
