For our partners our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets.  About the role  We are currently seeking a Line worker to join our team based out of our Broadmeadows depot. The primary purpose of this role is to support the broader No-Go Zone team in delivery their work packages across the Jemena Network. You will be given the opportunity to work a nine-day fortnight with some overtime available. Key Responsibilities include Install and remove No Go Zone visual warning devices Issue permits to work Carrying out switching on LV and HV networks Engaging with and advising the public on No Go Zone requirements Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams Complete route surveys for Over Dimensional Transport and provide escorts. Assist the Electrical Network Operators Undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution and/or transmission networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements About You Hold a Certificate III ESI in Distribution and a VIC Electrical licence RSO Certificate and DS Certificate (desirable) Experience within an electrical maintenance environment Experience working in high-risk environments Good interpersonal skills for interacting with customers Demonstrated ability to recognise and solve problems in the workplace Proven ability to work productively as part of a wider team while being able to work independently at times A safety focused attitude Why you should come and work with us Our people are our greatest strength and inspiration so having various flexible working options, paid parental leave and leave purchase plans amongst many other benefits are key foundational elements on which we have built our success.
