Your New Team & Role We are seeking highly motivated individuals to come and join our TEAM at our  Wollongong Branch . Working on a regular roster you will be a part of our results-focused, family-oriented and committed team!    This opportunity is open to those who are just starting out in their Belt Splicing career or those who are looking to take the next step and Level-UP! There are multiple opportunities available now!  Responsibilities Belt Splicing and Installations of conveyor belts - fabric, ply, solid woven, or steel – cords, as well as removal and replacement  Hot and cold repairs  Mapping and marking out splices; construct vulcaniser press on site and vulcanizes a splice throughout the whole process  Equipment and Shutdown preparation  Identify common belt damages/ faults and determine method of repair  Conduct belt audits  Assist with creating splice reports  Participate in and sign off on JSA’s; safety observations or toolbox discussions    About you We are seeking eager, committed workers who hold prior experience with conveyor systems, or those with a willingness to learn. As well as those that possess:  Experience and knowledge in conveyor belt systems and components.  Sound communication and interpersonal skills.  Abide by site and company safety policies and procedures.  Current valid Driver’s license – HR driver’s license desirable. Ability to work on-call and overtime.  NSW Coal Board Medical or ability to successfully obtain (Company funded)  Tickets: Working at Heights, Confined Spaces – desirable  Proven knowledge and experience working in mining as a Belt Splicer (Conveyor System Technician). Ability to perform high integrity splices  Certificate II or III in Polymer Processing.
