Plant Operator

Join our dynamic team at our Hervey Bay Concrete Plant and play a key role in Building Something Great.  Reporting to the Batcher in Charge, you will support the efficient batching and loading of concrete, actively participate in the day-to-day site operations, and proficient operation of both plant and mobile equipment.  Your day will involve:   Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs with dedicated programs and systems  Safe operation of front-end loader to weigh up materials for batching  Managing day to day administration including stock control of raw materials and monthly forecasts  Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting  General yard housekeeping and maintenance  What are we looking for?   Interest in the concrete industry as full training will be provided   Sound computer skills working with multiple systems and safety reporting    Flexibility and willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant as required What’s on offer?     Permanent, full-time opportunity offering overtime Access to a variety of support networks including Boral Employee Assistance Program We provide a working environment that is safe, caring, supportive and dynamic with a clear focus on continually encouraging and developing its people Genuine career growth opportunities within Boral
