Underground Diesel Fitters

Established in 1993, PYBAR, A Metarock Company, has grown to become one of Australia's largest underground hard rock mining contractors operating in multiple states of Australia with a track record in securing repeat business.  Due to operational growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Underground Fitters to join the team at Maxwell, NSW! Being a full-time position, these opportunities are FIFO, DIDO or residential positions and ready for an immediate start. THE OPPORTUNITY We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced underground fitters to join our team at our Maxwell project on a 14/14 roster. In order to be considered for the role you will need to demonstrate current or recent experience in a fitter role and a number of years’ experience working on a variety of underground mining equipment. What you’ll need to succeed Trade Qualifications (Essential) – Diesel Fitter Previous mining or UG mining experience Experience with CAT, Sandvik and Volvo equipment will be an advantage Maintenance and service experience Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team A strong focus on safety Hold a current Australian Drivers License Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
