Full time Dental Assistant role. Annual salary of $57,968 + 11% super You will have access to Salary Packaging benefits, 5 weeks annual leave and an accrued day off per month. We provide Victorians with quality oral health care through the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and work collaboratively with other sectors to deliver oral health promotion programs to benefit all Victorians. Your responsibilities will include:  Clinical Chair-side assisting with a Dentist or Specialist in the ward or in surgery.  Providing oral health education and promotion to our patients.  Preparing, maintaining, and managing the clinical environment, including equipment, materials, and instruments, in line with the treatment plan, to enhance efficient patient care.   About you:   Well-developed communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.  Ideally, 12+ months of experience working chair-side assisting. However, if you have the right attitude to learn this is not essential and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Certificate III in Dental Assisting or Certificate in Dental Nursing (Please note: Overseas trained dentists must have a qualification in Dental Assisting from an Australian RTO).  Why work for DHSV: Work with a team with a wide range of skills and experiences.
