About the company Located in Melbourne's northern suburbs, Our client is a well known organisation that is currently looking for a Import Sea and Air freight coordinator who is willing to grow with the business to join the team. The Opportunity As the Export Sea/Air freight coordinator some of the responsibilities required to perform but not limited to are: Liaising with Clients, Carriers and our oversea's partners Deliver Exceptional Service to our Customers Coordinate FAK & FCL containers, Including but not limited to Co-Ordination of Bookings, Dangerous Goods, Container Packing and wharf Delivery Conducting 6 monthly CoR audits across all sites Assisting Sales with quotes, and first point of contact for issues on site Ensure Compliance with Australian Customs. Maintain strong relationships with internal & external customers to ensure high standards of service delivery. Client Invoicing Skills & experience To be considered for this role you must possess the following: A minimum of 2+ years experience in a similar position. Experience working in transport or logistics Possesses a problem-solving mentality and analytical nature. Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment is essential A high level of motivation and energy with a strong focus on achieving outstanding customer experience results Competence with Microsoft Programs Experience with EDI Enterprise will be an advantage, however not essential At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
