Business Unit: Cubic Defense Company Details: Responsible for the provision of observation and analytical support to trainers during exercises. The Tactical Analyst is the principal interface with Coaches on military exercises for the dissemination of simulation information relating to military tactical manoeuvre. The Tactical Analyst is also the primary resource for training military personnel in the operation and maintenance of simulation training equipment. Job Details: Job Summary: Responsible for the provision of observation and analytical support to trainers during exercises. The Tactical Analyst is the principal interface with Army Observer Trainers on military exercises for the dissemination of simulation information relating to military tactical manoeuvre. The Tactical Analyst is also the primary resource for training military personnel in the operation and maintenance of simulation training equipment. This role will spend significant time deployed in the field. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assists with the issue and receipt of equipment to/from the customer throughout all phases of training activities Conducts operator maintenance and function checks on Mission Systems Assists in the establishment/dis-establishment of the Cubic facilities and equipment as directed Conducts pre-exercise training of exercise players Operates an analysis station within the ECC for each exercise Observe and analyse exercise tactical events in conjunction with Coaches to facilitate the production of multimedia product ISO Training Reflection Activity (TRA) Assists Coaches with the collection and collation of training observations Record Coaches observations in Defence lessons database Assist in production of the exercise Take Home Pack summarising lessons learned and TRAs BPT assist management to refine standard operating procedures are adhered to BPT assist the Engineer Systems with the rationalisation and refinement of SOPs relating to their functional area BPT operate support vehicles up to medium rigid General Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures Other duties as directed Minimum Job Requirements: Skills/Experience/Knowledge Experience in a similar role (highly desirable) Eligibility to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Industry security clearance.
