About the positions

DCV Personnel (DCVP) has multiple vacancies, with ongoing opportunities for regular shifts. DCVP is currently looking for experienced, motivated, dedicated Disability Support Workers

Minimum Requirements :

  • Relevant Industry experience and/or qualification / Willingness to learn
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence, Vehicle Registration & Insurance
  • Covid 19 Vaccinations including first Booster Shot
  • Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia - Australian Passport/Australian Birth Certificate/Visa
  • Relevant Screening Checks, NDIS Screening Check, Working with Children’s Check, National Police Clearance.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts and a MINIMUM of 10 - 15 hours per week

It’s a bonus if you also have training in :

  • Manual Handling
  • Assistance with Medication
  • Epilepsy and/or Diabetes Management
  • Complex Care Support
  • Behaviour Support Plan knowledge, and experience in implementation and monitoring
  • Trauma Informed Care
