The Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us at WCHN as an Administrative Officer on a casual basis within the Women's and Babies Division. The Administrative Officer  is responsible for: Providing confidential secretarial, reception, and administrative services to the Women’s and Children’s Health Network. Working on a roster including day and evening shifts within clinical areas, requiring multi-skilled proficiency in administrative tasks. Performing duties autonomously and undertake responsibility for more complex tasks and decision-making. Coordinating with the designated Midwifery Unit Manager/Shift Coordinator for duties and decision-making within the area. About You To be successful in this role, you would need: Effective communication skills, including empathy and courteous manner. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Capability to handle conflicts impartially and maintain confidentiality. Ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders while maintaining high service standards. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work accurately under pressure. Proficiency in word processing, Microsoft Office, and data entry.
