The Role: We're looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Snowy 2.0 team, based in Cooma. The Senior Contracts Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of subcontractor variations and the managing of the Contracts Administrator team. This position ensures that all subcontract variations are managed effectively in line with the tripartite agreement while safeguarding the employers interests throughout the project lifecycle. Additional responsibilities include: Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities in contract management, negotiation, and compliance. Provide strategic oversight and management on the initiation, negotiation, and implementation of subcontract variations, ensuring alignment with project goals and compliance with contractual obligations. Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including project management, engineering teams, and external partners, to ensure cohesive project execution. Conduct regular reviews of subcontract variation processes for efficiency and effectiveness, recommending improvements to align with best practices and project goals. We're looking for someone with: Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Law or related field. Minimum of 8 years experience in senior contracts administration or management, with a proven track record in large-scale projects or construction. Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team of contract professionals. Highly developed interpersonal communication and negotiating skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders Expert knowledge of EPC contracts, subcontract management and legal compliance.
