Description and Requirements Extend your OSHC career and make a positive impact on a close-knit community!A new service based in Dandenong North is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 32.75 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance! Hours are as follows: Monday – Friday, 06:30 – 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 02:45 – 06:00 PM (Stay and Play Program) plus 4 admin hours.In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a $500 commencement bonus at the completion of first month plus another $500 loyalty bonus at 12 months + split shift allowance + uniform allowance + other benefits + super.About the roleLeading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parentsLead a team of Educators onsite, including roster managementManage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administrationAbout usPartnering with parents and school communities, our goal is to build brighter futures by supporting children’s development through play in fun, engaging environments. They have a large space with an indoor gym and a dedicated office for admin. You would also benefit from the close relationship they have with a neighboring school, and staff who move between the two services. Who are we looking for? We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:An understanding of the education and/or childcare sectorsCear communication skills Team player with a desire to become a service leaderHold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with childrenAustralian work rightsHolds or is working towards a Diploma level or higher qualification in an ACECQA approved area (see the ACECQA website for more information)What's in it for you?
