Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project! Clough , as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities. We are currently searching for a Senior Subcontract Specialist to join the Project Ceres in Perth. Reporting to the Subcontracts Manager, you will be responsible for providing the Subcontracts team with support in the use of the Project Procurement System tools (SAP, Felix, NPP). You will also be responsible for tendering, analyzing, evaluating, and recommending proposals. Your focus will include – Comply with all Clough Operating Standards throughout project delivery and ensure Operating Standards relating to subcontracting are adhered to at all times. Supporting the Subcontract Manager to define the strategy for procuring Material & Permanent Systems goods. Supporting the overall Sourcing Process including Defining the Vendor List, preparing the request for proposal to send to suppliers, and managing commercial and contractual negotiation activities with the identified suppliers, to pursue the following targets: inexpensiveness, synergy, qualitative excellence and lead time optimization; Ensure compliance with Global Supply Chain and Company Policies. Analysing, comparing and assessing the offers received by suppliers, also guaranteeing that they are technically checked by requesting Corporate Departments/Operational Units. Also, preparing summary tables of the final offers and recommendations. Supporting supplier relations, in compliance with the Company's Code of Ethics, its Organization, Management and Control Model and its Anti-Corruption Model; Supporting report analysis activities and identifying corrective measures, in agreement with the Subcontract Manager and Procurement Manager, to manage and mitigate critical issues detected while carrying out the procurement process. Supporting the Corporate Procurement in defining and implementing Commodity strategies What you will bring to the team 5+ years of experience as a commercial or contracts advisor on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects, with direct experience managing subcontractors and suppliers. Knowledge of tendering, subcontracting processes, contract management, and procurement principles. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with subcontractors. Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law or Construction Management and Economics (CM&E). Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
