The firm is recognised for its innovative solutions and has a significant market presence in Australia, offices are located in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth, with the bulk of the finance function being based in Varsity Lakes.Job DescriptionManaging accounts payable using accounting software and other programs.Handling account inquiries and correspondence.Maintaining and updating financial records.Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents.Investigating discrepancies and managing to resolution.Preparing and processing payments accurately and on time.Participating in financial audits.Assisting with other accounting projects in the office as needed.The Successful ApplicantThe successful Accounts Payable Officer will have:A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software (Xero or MYOB).Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.Excellent data entry skills and ability to handle numerical data.Strong organisational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
