To learn more about the important work that we do in the community, please visit www.rloa.org.au  Rural Lifestyle Options Australia is looking for a Roster Officer to join our dynamic team in the  Logan Central .  You will be a confident and resilient problem solver, who thrives on the challenge of coordinating multiple competing priorities into a roster which provides the best possible fit for our participants needs and our Lifestyle Support Workers. We are looking for someone who has significant previous rostering experience, excellent time management skills, can hit the ground running and a positive can-do attitude to join our small and passionate team.  You will organise, prepare and maintain rosters for a team of Lifestyle Support Workers (LSW) and Personal Support Workers (PSW) to meet the support needs, as advised by the Service Delivery team, of Disability and Aged Care participants. You will achieve this by using your amazing communication, organisation and negotiation skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders including Participants and their carers and loved ones, LSW's and Service Managers. You will ensure all rosters adhere to the requirements under the relevant employment legislation by understanding and effectively interpreting applicable industrial relations awards, agreements and rostering rules. Specific requirements include: A current drivers licence and reliabe vehicle You will have (or be working towards) a tertiary qualification (Certificate IV or above) in Community Services, Administration, Business or Disability, and/or have Must have equivalent knowledge and practical experience in managing rosters and staff deployment in the disability sector. You have demonstrated experience in working both independently and as part of a team. You can demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, the principles of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) You have the ability to tailor communication to meet the needs of key stakeholders and apply strong negotiation and problem solving skills to issues as they arise You will also have demonstrated ability to use databases, including client scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office suite of programs Visicase experience advantageous, but not essential We Offer A suite of employee reward and recognition programs A referral incentives program Salary packaging up to $15,900 per FBT prorata Novated lease option Meal entertainment and venue hire up to $2,650 per FBT prorata Discounted Private health insurance through HCF A supportive team environment.
