Casual position Band 3 - Band 4 (Depending on Qualification) $29.74 - $34.26 per hour plus casual loading Located at our multiple sites About the role  City of Ballarat Children's Services encompasses three (3) sites, Girrabanya Integrated Children's Services, Wendouree Children's Centre and occasional care at the Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Children's Centre, with a new site to be developed during 2023 in Wendouree which will be known as the Rowan View Children's Centre. We openly welcome interest from individuals who would like to join our casual pool of Educators to work across all of our sites to deliver educational and care programs to children and their families.  Our casual educators may be either Certificate III and/or Diploma qualified and will work closely with the relevant Centre Coordinator, Educational Leader and Lead Educator to collaborate as a team of early childhood professionals, working within the National Quality Framework. About you  To shine in these roles, you will need to: Hold an Early Childhood qualification - either Certificate III or Diploma Be a team player Demonstrated a knowledge & understanding of the Children's Services Regulations and Early Years Frameworks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds Salary Certificate III Educators are classified at a Band 3 level with a starting hourly rate of $37.17. Diploma qualified Educators are classified at a Band 4 level with a starting hourly rate of $40.17. Pay rates are inclusive of 25% casual loading.
