Their focus is on fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance in all aspects of operations.  About the Role As a Records Management Officer, you will collaborate with various business units to identify, define, and document business requirements for records and information management compliance solutions. You will provide essential support for the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), ensuring efficient operation and user compliance. Additionally, you will play a key role in transforming hardcopy processes into digital workflows across the organization. Key accountabilities include: Collaborate with business units to develop recordkeeping solutions and improve processes Ensure compliance with legislation and organizational policies through regular audits Provide EDMS administration and support for end users Develop and maintain documentation for end user support and system operations Contribute to ongoing improvement of business processes and systems Monitor access security and assist with record retention and disposal schedules Assist with clean-up projects and digitization efforts Work closely with business units on projects to ensure recordkeeping compliance Assist in developing business improvement documentation and policies Provide support and assistance for EDMS implementation and user training Participate in audits and perform EDMS administrator duties Assist with development of Council Policies and Procedures related to records management Execute clean-up projects and report on information held within EDMS Provide ongoing system support and training for end users Participate in digitization projects and working groups as required About You Certificate IV in Recordkeeping or Information Technology Demonstrated knowledge of Records Management principles and practices Experience in applying relevant legislation, including the NSW State Records Act 1998 Proficiency in EDMS administration, particularly Content Manager (CM9) Strong analytical skills for project completion and end-user support High level of computer literacy, with proficiency in various software products Familiarity with Kodak scanning applications Benefits of contracting through Ashdown People 5th largest supplier to the NSW Government Get paid weekly Rated 4.9/5 on Google Reviews with over 1200 5 reviews for candidate feedback this year Offer Insurances for ABN Contractors Consistent communication & transparency Detailed onboarding & support Please apply if you are interested.
