Short Description: Solution Architect provides the architectural analysis and expertise necessary to support the business owner and the implementation team to deliver fit-for-purpose, compliant and strategically aligned solutions Location: Melbourne/Sydney/Perth/Adelaide, Australia Salary range:  AUD 148,484 - 157,275 (Annual Gross) Roles and Responsibilities Work in client-facing roles to contribute towards the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of complex and large-scale technology solutions. Ability to create complex AF hierarchies, implement and troubleshoot analytics-based calculations including event frames and roll ups based on Business requirements. Awareness and knowledge on Energy (Electricity/Gas) Market & Control Room Operations’ best-practices & standards would be an advantage. Ability to work independently with minimal assistance. Skill / Competencies / Experience: ESSENTIAL Domain Skills:   Understanding of GE products – GridOS, SCADA, Automatic Generation Control, AEMS, Operational Forecasting and Dynamic Security Assessment (DSA). Understanding on National Energy Market, Wholesale Energy Market & Gas Markets Architecture/Design Skills Design Large Enterprise Event based architecture Design the system to meet the NFR Requirements (On -Prem): Scalability, Availability, Performance Provides guidance to technical teams so detailed designs align with target architecture, standards, and patterns. Provides architectural governance to design, build, and operate phase Provides architectural governance to design, build, and operate phase. Technology Skills: Kubernetes Containers App/Data/Servers/Cloud services Monitoring Tools Data modelling Tools Enterprise Data & Analytics tool DevOps/SRE Tools Security: Security: SOCI, SONS compliance, ZeroTrust Security Architecture Has a good grasp of security architecture, either at an infrastructure and network or application layer Network isolation of CDC/Non-CDC systems (IT/OT systems) NIST CSF (or AESCSF) and its key challenges.
