Operating under limited supervision but working within standard operating procedures and guidelines, you will be responsible for overseeing daily inventory management, distribution activities, workplace safety and the management of staff and volunteers. A key outcome of this position is to undertake ownership of daily operations, ensuring efficiency across end-to-end activities which support our retail stores to operate effectively and with adequate stock to reach sales objectives. This is a permanent full-time (38 hours per week) role based in  Kensington, Bundaberg. To be successful in the role, you will meet the following criteria: Relevant qualifications or certification in Warehousing and Distribution or equivalent Previous experience in a similar role, overseeing distribution operations Thorough understanding of distribution, warehouse and logistics operations including inventory management, distribution and supply chain management, WH&S and people management Ability to coordinate others to meet deadlines and prioritise own workload through delegation and problem-solving where required to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services Microsoft Office suite proficiency with advanced aptitude in Word, Outlook and Excel Ability to lead and manage others including well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisation skills Commitment to promoting and creating a safe workplace, ensuring all policies, procedures and legislative requirements are adhered to Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society Ready to apply?
