Mechanical Fitter

UGL Utilities are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the Hunter Power Project team! The Hunter Power Project is the construction of a 660MW Power Station comprising of two heavy-duty open cycle gas turbines. Located in the in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, 35 km west of Newcastle. About You: Fit mechanical plant (pumps, valves, pipework, rotating equipment etc.) Fabricate steel structures (platforms, supports, pipework, etc.) Read and interpret drawings supplied by a supervisor or client representative. Follow written and/or verbal instructions provided by a supervisor client’s representative. Care and maintain tools and equipment necessary to carry out all tasks.
