An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Media Specialist to join a dynamic team at Commonry. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, this role is responsible for the effective execution and coordination of all Commonry social media communication with a focus on elevating and growing the brand through social media channels. IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED TO:  Lead and manage social media channels, including scheduling, product tagging, and reporting. Curate and enhance the social shopping experience, driving social commerce initiatives. Monitor social channels daily, analyse performance metrics, and apply key learnings to optimise strategies. Support social media budget management, make recommendations on social spend, and track monthly invoices. Develop and manage social media campaigns, ensuring high-quality content that resonates with the target audience. Collaborate with guest experience teams to gather insights for improving customer experience. Manage social community management, crisis responses, and foster a strong online community. Stay updated with social media trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance performance. Coordinate seasonal marketing plans and promotional activities with internal teams and concession partners. Manage event coordination, including guest lists, event collateral, reporting, and social media content. On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices. THE PERFECT FIT: Previous experience in a retail business is desirable A sound understanding of social media channels with a Fashion Retail lens in particular Proficiency in programs including Microsoft Office and Canva Proficiency in social media scheduling and reporting tools ie. Dash Hudson Project management and juggling multiple projects at once A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Marketing/Communications/Public Relations (preferred) Strong attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills A proactive attitude, a drive to achieve goals, and the ability to meet deadlines Strong organisational and planning skills Able to build strong stakeholder relationships ADDED BENEFITS:   Up to 50% off new-season Commonry styles  Generous team member discount across all Brandbank brands.
