Production Electronics Engineer

About the role As the Production Engineer will be able to use your in-depth engineering technical knowledge across specialist disciplines and enable strategic alignment, adherence to governance and standards and mobilising people to achieve business outcomes. Primary Duties: In this role you will: Propose solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Undertake equipment installation and troubleshoot equipment and Identify issues in production line and resolve them in a responsible and timely manner. Participate in the development of production/product goals, milestones and identify ways to streamline production improvement process and techniques. With support, manage the production process, from developing prototypes to sourcing material to building the product. Manage the production engineering staff and provide guidance and support where required including performance development and management. Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience in a similar role with experience leading teams and / or supervisory experience.                                                           Demonstrated direct experience in equipment installation, troubleshooting and process improvement.                                 A collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills and aptitude for applying experiential judgement and lateral approaches to complex problem solving.                                                                        Demonstrated ability to lead a team across the engineering lifecycle through concept development, design, integration, test, sustainment and delivery.
