The team's primary purpose is to ensure the creation of a comprehensive annual business plan that aligns with WAPHA’s mission, vision, and strategic plan. In addition, the Manager will lead the reporting team to monitor and report on WAPHA’s performance against the approved annual plan; lead corporate governance and accountability to the federal Department of Health and Aged Care (DHAC); collate and submit DHAC contractual deliverables and outcomes reporting including activity work plans (AWPs); lead regular DHAC stakeholder engagement; and collate and submit other funder contractual deliverables and outcomes reporting. This role will be offered as an on-going position on a full-time basis and offers the flexibility to work from home and office. Key tasks and responsibilities include but not limited to: Lead a team of 6 people. Develop annual planning templates, tools, systems, guides. Conduct annual training sessions, engagement and communication on annual planning processes and systems. Facilitate meetings and information sessions to provide support to all teams and portfolios in developing the annual plans. Lead the co-ordination, review and dissemination of funding schedules received from DHAC throughout the year and maintain a single source of truth for all funding schedules, variations (funding schedule tracker and MS Teams). Provider oversight and review of the training material development and delivery on Activity Work Plans. Prepare the annual business plan and report against that plan quarterly for ‘Business Planning and Reporting team including setting SMART objectives, goals, targets, and metrics for each upcoming financial year that are aligned to the strategic plan. Lead the co-ordination and submission of WAPHA’s reporting obligations to the DHAC as per the funding schedules (our contracts with DHAC). Lead and provide oversight of all other DHAC reporting requirements in addition to the Annual reporting requirement. Lead the Executive Office team who are responsible for acknowledging and responding to DHAC’s communications and queries efficiently and in a timely manner by engaging and co-ordinating with all relevant WAPHA teams and portfolios. Provide feedback to the Senior Manager and Executive General Manager - Business Services on the planning and reporting processes, policies, and tools to ensure it is fit-for purpose and seek ways to continually improve its efficiency.  About you To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following selection criteria: Essential experience and education  Tertiary level qualifications in business, commerce or demonstrated experience in managing the complete annual cycle of business planning and reporting against that plan. Excel and PowerPoint skills Demonstrated strategic thinking and a strategic mindset with an Ability to connect planning and reporting activities to WAPHA’s strategic priorities. Experience of leading and managing a team. Leadership and Influence to be able to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Strong leadership skills, combined with the ability to influence without direct authority, are essential for driving collaboration and alignment across the organization. Outstanding organisational skills with a proven ability to deal with multiple tasks, manage projects effectively, and establish priorities while meeting strict and/or tight deadlines. Experience in leading and co-ordinating internal and or external reporting across multiple teams to tight timelines and immovable deadlines. Exceptional stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organisation. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships. Preferred experience and education  Experience with using the following applications using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Enterprise Performance Planning (EPM) module, JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI Our Benefits Hybrid working arrangement that combines remote work (3-4 days per week) with office presence in our modern Subiaco office (1-2 days per week).
