The core capability requirements for this role are: • Develop and deliver QPS education and training courses and programs using evidence based adult education techniques and training best practice strategies. • Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a diverse range of education and training projects through the design, development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of QPS education and training courses and programs. • Liaise, consult and negotiate across QPS business areas to conduct needs analysis and assess prevention training requirements. • Develop and maintain effective and appropriate communication and collaboration with QPS business areas, representatives of government departments, and external agencies in order to identify efficiencies, consistency and enhance service delivery outcomes relating to education and training. • Contribute to effective teamwork, problem solving and positive interaction and communication with all key stakeholders, in line with human resource policies having particular regard to employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour. Role Requirements Mandatory • While there are no mandatory requirements for this role, possession of skills and experience in an accredited tertiary qualification in adult education would be highly regarded. Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience • Previous experience with the design, development and delivery of training would be highly regarded.
