The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. Qualifications: Tertiary Qualifications or related discipline such as, advanced diploma or higher in surveying and spatial sciences White Card Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works Experience in surveying software’s including but not limited to: AutoDesk, 12D model, Leica Infinity, Mircrosurvey Starnet, Required Competencies: Sound knowledge of Australian standards, regulations and policies Competent in use of surveying computer based software Ground Settlement Monitoring (automatic & manual systems) including reporting of data Good understanding of Australian and International Standards relating to concrete and earthworks Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to collaborate across technical functions, site construction engineers and external stakeholders Sound interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively Ability to work to deadlines and targets and can prioritise tasks under pressure Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Good interpersonal skills and communication Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail Excellent safety awareness with good housekeeping habits. Ability to carry out work instructions and directives to provide satisfactory outcomes. Ability to work within a team environment to achieve desired results Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities: The surveyor is responsible for marking all lines and levels required to guide accurate and consistent construction They are primarily responsible for collecting all as-built data and saving the data into the correct format. Ensure the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations. Provide survey services to ensure the accurate location and layout of work within the lines, grades and elevations indicated in the design drawings. Provide survey activities to meet project work schedules. Work in conjunction with the tunnelling and construction teams Support the Senior Surveyor in liaising with Design management as required to confirm consistency of any proposed changes to reference design with relevant environmental / contractual requirements The above listed authorities & responsibilities are only a guide and may change as directed by your Manager/Supervisor or as per the requirements of FGJV Management.
