Joining the Journey Beyond family, you will play an integral role in supporting our business as we continue to share special places and shape lasting memories for our guests.About the roleWe are currently seeking a full time Stores & Procurement Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Stores & Procurement Manager the Stores & Procurement Office will manage daily purchasing activities and inventory control, including the raising of purchase orders, collecting orders from local suppliers, loading and unloading of vehicles, following up suppliers for delivery dates and assist in sourcing products. This role will also be required to assist with the washing and drying of stinger suits.The role may also be required to assist the Grounds Crew team in delivering a high standard of customer care and ensure the timely behind the scenes movement of luggage, freight and supplies between all the business. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Completion of administrative tasks for Stores & Maintenance including email inbox management Receipting, storage and issuing of stock from the Stores & Maintenance departments Ensuring inventory control systems and records are accurately maintained Assist with the coordination of Stores & Maintenance stock control including sourcing and ordering, and receipt of goods within a timely and efficient manner Coordination and delivery of all internal orders within a timely manner Conducting month / annual stock take through reconciling inventory records with physical counts Assist with the development of efficiencies of Stores & Maintenance procedures and practices Maintaining high quality standards and prompt distribution of stock to relevant departments Ensuring safety and environmental standards are maintained within the workplace About youThe successful candidate will have a sharp eye for detail and quality of presentation. Physically able to go from working at a computer to climbing a ladder, lifting stock or helping the Grounds Crew with luggage. You will be able to operate calmly under time pressure and make informed decisions whilst supporting the needs of the team and our guests.
