Manufacturing and Production Labourpower Recruitment Services are seeking experienced Machine Operators for a number of causal assignments working in an industrial manufacturing company located in Somersby.These positions will be based on a 38 hour week working afternoon shift, Monday to Friday with the potential for long term employment.WELDER 1st or 2nd class welding experienceMIG or TIG welding experience (able to pass a weld test)Cutting, shaping and repairsSteel FabricationReading & interpreting drawings and plansGeneral labouring or assisting other trades onsite when required TURRET PUNCH Previous experience in operating a turret punch machineryHigh level of accuracy and bend tolerances required.Engineering/workshop experience Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.Troubleshooting of manufacturing problems.General labouring or assisting other trades on site when required BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR Previous experience in operating a brake press machineHigh level of accuracy and bend tolerances required.Engineering/workshop experience Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.Troubleshooting of manufacturing problems.General labouring or assisting other trades on site when required GUILLOTINE OPERATOR Previous experience working with guillotines or similar machinesTrimming, changing blades, regular maintenance of guillotineAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.Troubleshooting of manufacturing problems.Ideally hold a forklift licenceGeneral assembly/factory work when required To be suitable you must meet the below criteria: Must have own car and valid licenceHave extensive knowledge of hand and power toolsMUST have previous sheet metal or mechanical assembly experienceSound knowledge of WHSMust be able to read and interpret drawingsWill need to provide two work reference checksAbility to pass a drug and alcohol screen These position are viewed to go temp to perm or direct permanent for the right candidate.
