Department:  Infrastructure & Utilities Employment Type:   Permanent Full Time Location:  Emerald Salary: Stream A, Level 7 - 8: $107,145.95 - $128,191.75 + Superannuation + $5k Attraction Incentive + Overtime + On Call Allowances + Subsided Council Housing Are you an experienced leader looking for your next opportunity?   Central Highlands Regional Council has an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator to join and lead the dedicated Water & Sewer Networks team which allows you to use your expertise to provide support and mentor the teams, monitor annual budgets, prepare high-level reports, conduct procurement activities and ensure overall compliance within the network operations. You will also coordinate the planned and responsive day-to-day activities of the network team to ensure the reliability of Council's water distribution and sewer collection networks located across our region.   In this role, you will support the organisation by: Ensuring the ongoing operation of the network infrastructure Using your existing leadership capabilities to motivate a network team to achieve high quality outcomes Planning, coordinating and scheduling daily maintenance activities across the crews Procuring goods and services to support daily activities Leading and fostering a positive and safety focused culture Participating in an on call rotating roster Leading, mentoring and developing a positive work culture that thrives for continuous improvement Contribute to forward planning for planning maintenance and renewals programs. To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess: QBCC Occupational Plumber and Drainer Licence or tertiary qualification in Engineering or suitable alternative qualification QLD C Class Drivers Licence General Construction Induction Card (white card) Proven leadership and supervisory skills including mentoring and developing a diverse team. Significant experience and knowledge of water and wastewater network management  Experience in network maintenance scheduling and data collection with an emphasis on regulatory reporting Extensive demonstrated technical skills and knowledge of water distribution and wastewater collection systems including maintenance techniques Competency in a wide range of Microsoft programs If you are highly experienced in coordinating network maintenance and looking for an exciting new opportunity, then we want to hear from you!
