Full time Contracts Administrator for a rapidly growing civil contracting company. For a Contracts Administrator to provide general project adminstration duties to assist clients with subdivision constructions. Start ASAP  $130k - $150k depending on skill set  CHEOPS experience is nearly a must. CHEOPS is a computer program that runs the business Your next employery is a privately owned WA civil contracting company who specialises in subdivision construction within the greater Perth metropolitan area.  Reporting to the Construction Manager you shall be responsible for accurate and timely completion of general project administration duties such as   Draft contracts for Subcontractors and Suppliers for approval by Construction Manager.  Check and prepare and process payments for Subcontractors and Suppliers  Control distribution of drawings and all contract documents to site, consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers as required  Set up and maintain filing system, in accordance with Company policy, of all correspondence including both hard copy and electronic is readily accessible.  Obtain quotations and negotiate contracts with Subcontractors and Suppliers Agree variations with Architect and Subcontractors  Liaise with Construction Manager for all matters that may delay works or have cost impact. Correspond with Client/Consultants/Subcontractors on financial and contractual matters  Process Contract Payment Certificates and liaise with Construction Manager discrepancies Prepare and maintain variation schedules  Check supplier invoices and correlate discrepancies Prepare internal monthly cost reports including costs to completion for approval by Construction Manager Monitor and process retention claims.  Assist in the formation and notification of variations and day work claims Arrange Contract Insurances at project commencement   Liaise with subcontractors to ensure all relevant insurances are current and legal (i.e. workers compensation)  Review and take note of project documentation including legal documentation such as contracts (AS2124, AS4000 etc)  Key Qualifications & Experience include:  Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position.  A sound knowledge of the construction industry, specifically civil construction  Tertiary Building Qualification in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or Diploma in Building Construction  Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications  Demonstrated experience using Cheops Strong writing and verbal communication skills  Strong organisational skills  Strong time management skills  Strong negotiation skills Knowledge of contract law and administration CHEOPS experience is nearly a must.
