Contract: Ongoing, 80.0 hours per fortnight. Casual opportunities are also available- Please specify your preferred contract in your application. We are seeking enthusiastic, vibrant and creative Cooks to join our Food Services team! If you have commercial cooking experience and are looking for a varied and interesting work environment this is the ideal position for you. The Position: In this role you will work as part of a large team within the BRHS Food Safety Plan and the Healthy Choices guidelines to ensure the provision of a first-class food service to the hospital community. It is essential that our cooks have a good understanding of the Food Safety Plan and the special dietary needs of patients and clients to ensure a high standard of food and beverage services are delivered. Applicants require availability to work a range of shifts as required, across 7 days a week including public holidays. The Department: Our Food Services department produces and delivers a range of catering and food services that meet the needs of our patients, aged care residents, clients, visitors and staff. In addition to our internal patient service, a cafeteria day service is provided to staff and visitors as well as catering for meetings/functions and participation in the local community meals on wheels program.
