Working alongside our team of dedicated Foreign Exchange Advisors your role as a Business Development Manager is to identify and deliver long term financial growth of our Foreign Exchange Business. You will draw on your extensive industry knowledge and networks to identify and win new to nab customers. Based in the Melbourne Dealing room, the role will work with customers across Metropolitan Melbourne as well as Regional and Rural VIC. Our team: The VIC Business Markets team works within NAB Financial Markets group and forms part of Corporate & Institutional Banking. We specialise in providing risk management solutions to businesses and individuals and offer a range of interest rate, foreign exchange andmodity products that are tailored to meet a client's specific requirements. Your new role: Applying a customer-centric lens within the fast-paced culture of the VIC Business Market team, the opportunity exists for an experienced FX Business Development Manager. Your role will play a pivotal role in driving ourpany's growth and expanding our FX client base. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships with referral partners and stakeholders, as well as nurturing our existing clients in collaboration with our FX Desk Advisors to achieve sales targets and our revenue objectives. You will have experience in identifying and prospecting new clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and our online leads platforms. Your strongmunication, influencing and networking skills will be essential when working with key referral partners and stakeholders to identify, pitch and win new clients. Your passion for customers and inquisitive nature will see you match our customer service proposition with customers needs. How you demonstrate success: Identify and pursue new business opportunities either through your network or referrals from stakeholders (NAB Relationship Managers, Specialist Partners, Digital Leads) In collaboration with the FX Desk Advisors, develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by understanding their FX needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives. Research and analyse market trends,petitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for growth. Educate key stakeholders in Foreign Exchange to increase capability and understanding of Nab's FX Customer Value proposition. Assist customers and bankers to execute FX transactions through our payment platform on an execution basis. An in-depth knowledge of products, focused on value to the customer through sales and service, timely andpetitive pricing. Proven experience in managing and progressing your pipeline to achieve sales and service targets through self-generated leads and outbound prospecting. You will be: A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities with a results-orientated mindset. You have strong interpersonal andmunication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients at all levels. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment allows you to excel and deliver results.
