About The Role National Aluminium are pleased to offer positions for Truck Drivers at our Dandenong South location. Positively contribute to the daily production requirements of the business by transporting and delivering manufactured products and materials in a safe and timely manner. Provide great customer service at delivery and train and support learner drivers and offsiders when required.  Truck Drivers will undertake a variety of duties, including but not limited to: Ensuring all vehicles and in a safe, well maintained, clean and tidy condition and that all items loaded onto trucks and trailers are secure before travel, assisting with loading and unloading as required; Maintain driver diary and supporting paperwork in accordance with State and Federal Regulations; Communicate with customers regarding delivery instructions and obtain customer signatures upon delivery as required; Complete all paperwork and check sheets as required and contribute to good housekeeping at the branch; Demonstrate and uphold a commitment to safe work practices and comply with all site requirements regarding mandatory PPE, sign in or other processes and procedures About the Shift Monday to Friday | 38 hours per week | 6:00am – 2:30pm + Overtime where required About you - Skills & Experience We will provide you with all the tools and product training required to see you succeed in role and bring the National Aluminium Difference. You will need a valid, unrestricted Driver’s Licence issued for the appropriate vehicle category. Approach every task positively while demonstrating a commitment to safe work practices A clear communicator who thrives when working as part of a team  Truck Licence LR - MR preferred Highly Desirable Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and grow into a more senior role in due time. Organised and able to process requests and meet deadlines Knowledge of the Chain of Responsibility Legislation Forklift Licence preferred  Key Requirements In-Cabin Camera Monitoring: All our trucks are equipped with GEOTAB in-cabin camera monitoring systems to promote safe driving practices and provide a secure environment for our drivers. GPS: Our trucks are equipped with advanced GPS systems to ensure efficient route planning and to keep drivers connected. Fatigue Monitoring System: National Aluminium prioritizes driver well-being and safety, and we utilize fatigue monitoring systems to prevent fatigue-related incidents and ensure our drivers are well-rested. To be successful in this role you’ll exhibit a positive, self-motivated attitude and enjoy collaborating with a team to ensure desired commercial outcomes.
