Multiple posts are available so if you are in a % inpatient job or a mix with community or other special interests then the service could shape the role around your interests following discussions with the clinical director.;Working within the framework of patient-centred care and with high levels of integrity your responsibilities will include but are not limited to Clinical work - being the assessment and treatment of patients within agreed care plans, working as consultation liaison with other medical specialties, provide flexible, adaptive and contemporary models of service delivery.; Working on quality improvement, patient safety and clinical governance activities.; Provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the efficient and effective use of available resources. Teach undergraduate and postgraduate doctors in training as well as other colleagues. Work and lead in a collaborative and respectful manner.; Promote and encourage CME activities to your colleagues as well as ensure you maintain your own professional development.; Selection criteria includes FRANZCP or adult psychiatry equivalence gained in UK not CESR, Ireland, USA, Canada, Sri Lanka if overseas placement in Australia completed, South Africa.; If not FRANZCP you must have at least 2.onsultant level experience at time of reading and have completed a formal post in child and adolescent psychiatry during your training RANZCP criteria.
