If you have a passion for tech or web development within the exercise physiology field, there may be an opportunity for you to contribute in this space as well ABOUT US We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time exercise physiologist or physiotherapist to join our expanding mobile rehabilitation clinic. Our team enjoys outstanding working conditions, and we prioritise continuous learning by networking with leading allied health and medical professionals on the Northern Beaches. As part of our commitment to community education, we conduct fortnightly lectures with an average attendance of 30-70 individuals. Over the past 12 months, we have delivered over 20 hours of community talks to retirement villages and community support groups. Rehab on the Road is a mobile rehabilitation clinic based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. TRAVEL ALLOWANCE INCLUDED Work phone included (Apple iPhone) Laptop included- All assessment and prescription equipment included (Blood pressure machine, Dynamometer, pulse oximeter, Blaze Pods etc) YOUR DAY TO DAY This role will service a caseload on the Northern Beaches, most within very close proximity to each other (minimal travel time). When engaging in administration tasks you will have the option to work from home or use one of the community facilities available. We have team meetings once a week to touch base and discuss any clinical/administration issues, develop networking strategies, address KPS's and engage in professional development. A professional development allowance of $500 will be allocated to you every year to help keep you up to date. You don’t have to work on your birthday and you can choose to have your annual leave anytime of the year, including Christmas to spend time with your family and friends. The role will require you to deliver community based services predominantly for aged care and neurological conditions. Our clients come under both private and public sectors (DVA/NDIS/MY AGED CARE). YOUR SKILLS WILL INCLUDE Providing comprehensive assessments and prescriptions Delivering individual and group sessions Providing falls prevention and rehabilitation initiatives Creating home exercise programs Delivering education programs e.g. exercise for chronic disease Maintaining high quality documentation including written assessments and reports, and case notes for all clients Helping organise and execute networking commitments CRITERIA Current ESSA Exercise Physiology Accreditation or APRHA registration Professional Indemnity/Public Liability Insurance Driver’s license and car Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination Minimum of 2 years experience (Not-essential) Current First Aid and CPR Must be an all round legend PREFERENTIAL CRITERIA (NON-ESSENTIAL) Previous business experience Previous health care or fitness industry experience Northern Beaches local
