The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Community Manager, you will work both autonomously and collaboratively to coordinate daily events, activities and services for the amazing residents. In this fantastic community, you will motivate, engage and enable residents to participate in a wide range of experiences including physical, social and community-orientated activities every day. Great work/life balance roster and no weekends! Coordinate and deliver fun, inclusive and exciting events to our residents on a regular schedule Deliver an activities program that promotes independence and enabling social connections Collaborate and engage with key stakeholders such as our residents, local businesses and Aveo staff to deliver programs that builds participation Create weekly schedules for all new events and distribute newsletters highlighting upcoming events Be the welcoming face to all new residents in the community by ensuring they are engaged and supported in their transition to our community. Complete general adhoc duties including (but not limited to): attending staff meetings, general administrative tasks and helping drive residents to activities if needed What you'll bring Previous experience in developing group or individual programs, coordinating activities or events experience A genuine interest in improving the lives of seniors Possesses a high level of communication and organisation skills. Be creative - we want someone to create FUN activities Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (required) Current COVID-19 Vaccination (required) Current First Aid & CPR Certification (required) Sound literacy, numeracy and IT skills as you'll be putting together newsletters and programs!
