Medical Affairs Manager - Sydney We are currently seeking a experienced Medical Affairs Manager who may wish to pivot from a similar role into being more hand on around a medical Global HQ table. Also less travel. The role will have a focus on being diverse, provicde a strong foundation for the products efficacy to users and patients. This role cuts out the typical travel you normally experience in the medical world, yet incorporates challenges and tasks to work through with the medical team of this Australian medical device company. 90% of the role will be in the office with some WFH options when possible. Reporting directly into the Head of Medical Affairs - Globally This role will ask for more strategic corporate level input from a medical point of view, with it less travel. ABOUT THE ROLE: Our leading Australian R&D Medical Technology client have been building out a global presence from Australia. This role reports to the Global Medical Director. You will be an integral part of a dynamic, cross functional close knit team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Medical Affairs Management and training to the clinical application team, commercial team and direct to KOLs where needed on present and future products Clinical study and publication strategies Subject matter expert Clinical workflow integration Peer review literature Off label enquiries Collection and analysis of medical insights Medical information relating to market developments and clinical evidence in the area working with the medical and engineering teams for maximum efficacy with customer and clinical outcomes SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: We are looking for candidates who love working as part of a team; enjoy a role where no day is the same and want to make a difference to others. Ideally medical technology or pharma experience. Must be able to adhere to published salary on advert to transfer to medical device world and less travel. Not flexible above this. There is a discretionary annual bonus on top of the published salary. Essential to have a come from an appreciation of microbiology and ideally bacteria prevention or similar field Very little travel involved with the role so could be a great option for a medical experienced professional looking to pivot. Must have eligibility already to work in Australia full time, no sponsorship. Can come from a pharmaceutical background in a medical information or medical affairs management / advisor role.
