IDC Technologies specializes in engineering training courses in the field of Instrumentation, Process Control, Industrial Data Communications & Networking, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Finance and Project Management.IDC Technologies was founded in 1991 and has built a strong reputation globally as a provider of practical and technical training across a wide range of engineering disciplines.Our workshops and engineering short courses are not academic; they are designed to provide practical skills and hands-on applications where delegates are given the opportunity to apply, in practice, the theory they have learnt through our engineering courses.The RoleYour responsibilities will include:Conducting penetration testing, simulating an attack on the system to find exploitable weaknesses.Developing and implementing security framework, policies, processes/procedures and guidelines.Maintaining security subject-matter expertise and keep abreast of best practices & trends.Managing vulnerability assessment.Oversight & resolution of security incidents.Designing, maintaining and supporting the network infrastructure.Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability and availability.Recommending infrastructure solutions to meet business requirement in compliance with IT policy & procedure.Providing Level 2 support and troubleshooting as and when required.Analyzing business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework.Providing technical (Level 2/Level 3) support.Providing design guidelines, documentation, standard configuration and best practices for implementation.Understanding available solutions and be aware of best practices within the industry.Working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements.Advising on IT risk findings and providing recommendations on IT control measures.Organizing and executing audits to ensure compliance and consistency.Configuration, installation, maintenance and lifecycles planning of various network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN etc. .).Ideal ProfileYou possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.You have at least 6 years experience, ideally within a Network Engineer / Systems Engineer, IT Security or Network Architect role.You have good interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at working with multiple stakeholders to drive desired outcomes.Expertise in Firewalls, IT Risk, Load Balancer and Network & Security Assessment would be highly valuable.You have work experience in Switching and Routing (L3 level). Platform: Cisco, HPE, Aruba Networks.You have managing and troubleshooting Knowledge in F5 load balancer.You have knowledge and work experience in managing Network & Firewall infrastructure for AWS & Azure.You have in depth knowledge in MPLS and Service provider infrastructure.You have knowledge and work experience in OFC (SM/MM/DWDM).You have managing & troubleshooting knowledge on Cisco wireless LAN (WLC, Indoor and outdoor AP).You have work experience in handling Data center migration projects, building new sites.You have work experience in Network security (Firewall & Proxy) (L3 level). Platform: Cisco, FortiGate, Palo Alto.You possess CCNA/CCNP (Cisco Certified Network), CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and ITIL certifications.You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments.You are a strong mentor and coach who can build high performing teams.You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard.What's on Offer?
