The Opportunity Veolia is seeking a Bid Manager to join our water team based in Pyrmont, 2009. As the Bid Manager you will spearhead our pursuit of major water infrastructure operations and maintenance (O&M) projects. Provide leadership, management, and coordination of multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams to produce outstanding tender documents. Implement governance processes and bid practices, ensuring adherence and continuous improvement. Manage the development of winning tender solutions and proposal submissions, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and quality. Conduct risk and opportunity assessments, commercial modelling, and pricing analyses to maximise profitability and competitiveness. Collaborate as part of the Strategy and Growth - Water team to develop and refine win themes and differentiators, ensuring effective communication and evidence throughout the bid submission. Maintain effective working relationships with Veolia employees across all levels, departments, and locations, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Demonstrate safety leadership and promote a culture of excellence in all activities. What you'll need to be successful Relevant tertiary qualification Experience in Operations and Maintenance of large scale water infrastructure Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
