Beaumont People is thrilled to be partnering with Australia’s largest child protection provider in search of person-centred, resilient case workers who are committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children at risk of abuse and neglect.    You will engage with children, their families, interagency partners, and a variety of community stakeholders to identify risks to the child and coordinate support services to improve their safety and individual circumstances.    As a Child Protection Case Worker, you will: Identify and address safety and risk concerns for children and young people by undertaking assessments and investigations. Build relationships within practice and legislative frameworks to create change in families and keep children and young people safe. Develop and maintain networks with key stakeholders to deliver appropriate services for children, young people, and families. Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional development to ensure your practice knowledge and skills are contemporary and evidence based. Maintain accurate and relevant client records for reporting and information sharing. What you bring to the role: Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Welfare or related discipline, along with an ongoing commitment to continuous learning. Minimum 1-2 years’ demonstrated experience working in the Child Protection (preferable), Youth, Social Work or Social Welfare sector. Experience managing a heavy case load and providing case management for vulnerable people through a trauma-informed lens. Strong ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple competing priorities. A growth mindset and objective approach to overcoming challenges, ensuring the safety and well-being of the child is prioritised throughout all decision making. Strong critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills. Mandatory Requirements: Bachelor’s degree level qualification in Social Work or Social Welfare. Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency. Valid NSW Driver’s Licence. Valid Working With Children Check.
