We are currently recruiting for the following position/s: Senior Electrical Engineer - Controls and Scada - Melbourne, Hobart As Entura is currently growing our teams to support our exciting pipeline of projects, we are seeking a Senior Engineer – CONTROLS and SCADA to be part of our Grid & Power Group. You will play a core role in a close-knit team, taking the lead in providing functional specifications, design, testing and commissioning services in automation and SCADA infrastructure environments including hydro power-stations, substations, and hybrid energy schemes. Position Description  PD-Entura-Electrical Engineer Controls-SCADA-Apr2024.pptx What you will bring: You have true team player spirit, with the ability to be equally adept across a number of different environments, and to supervise electrical design teams when necessary. 5 or more years’ experience in Controls (automation) and SCADA, ideally applied to delivering complete end-to-end solutions without needing to obtain support from a third party. Extensive experience and demonstrated knowledge of PLC control system hardware and software from major vendors such as Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric and Siemens Strong experience in lead design and commissioning roles for complex upgrades of existing plant, preferably hydroelectric machines. Electrical control hardware design and cabling solutions for control panel manufacture and remote support during site installation and testing Design and review/approve PLC IO lists, panel layouts, control equipment schedules, cable schedules, termination schedules and instrumentation specifications. Hardware and software development from concept design through to construction support and commissioning. A high level of competency with integration design using RTUs, PLCs, telemetry and other related devices, which are essential in generator and distribution power schemes. A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Awareness of Australian engineering codes of practices, standards, and guidelines. Apply Principal Renewable Energy Engineer - Solar PV - Melbourne, Hobart As Entura is currently growing to support our exciting pipeline of projects, we are seeking a Principal Renewable Engineer – Solar PV  to be part of our Renewables Development team.  In this role you will provide leadership and technical engineering advice and expertise in Solar PV electrical generation technology, and other forms of Renewable Energy. Whilst the primary focus of this position will be focused on Solar projects, such as capacity assessments, energy yield assessments, project development activities, developing of technical specification, evaluation of equipment, detailed designs, advise on project implementation or commissioning activities, the role will also cover other forms of renewable energy, such BESS and hybrid project, and to limited extent wind energy. Typical activities may include energy and resource assessments, concept and feasibility studies, specification development and project implementation support for renewable developments. These will be provided at stages from investigation and site acquisition, through development, design, owner engineer services and due diligence of existing assets. You will also work alongside a team of highly renowned technical and thought leaders within this discipline.   What you’ll bring: Preferred experience for the role includes the following: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline or experience as required for admission as a member of Engineers Australia. At least 10 years’ experience in renewable energy solar PV systems at utility scales with an emphasis on their design (layout, cabling and or system) and installation. Experience in Energy Yield Assessments Technical due diligence and owners engineer experience. Experience with Solar PV associated with hybrid or standalone systems, including device settings, control systems and commissioning.
